I was thinking one day about how much I am getting paid. I get only 24 paychecks supposedly one every two weeks, right? Wrong!!! If we do the math then it should be 48 weekly paychecks, but there are 52 weeks in a year. Another form of BS that all these financiers and their complex math formulae are pulling on us. We lose over a year, those of with salaries, an entire month. Therefore for my next job I will negotiate differently. Since I am getting only 24 checks I divided my entire salary to 52 weeks. And that result I divided to the hours that I am working and getting aid for. Which are 35, because if I do overtime I get 1.5 hourly only if I exceed the 40 hour mark. And I did some overtime and the hourly rate was still the same. Therefore my advice is to pay attention when you negotiate your money, keep in mind what I wrote. The year has 52 weeks not 48. Now I am not a wizard at this thing, but I feel that if a person negotiates his wages hourly with paychecks at every end of the week, he or she will earn more money.
I feel that this is another scam that companies pull to cheat their employees.
