For years now PC gamers have been using all kinds of adapters to be able to use a mouse and keyboard for their consoles. I have been using a mouse keyboard adapter for my Xbox to play Call of Duty. I have had the XFPS for 2 years and I used intently. It does work but the translation is not 1 to 1 or a hundred percent but it is better than playing with a controller, at least for me. My friends they all use controllers, and some of them do way better than me, even with my mouse and keyboard. So in a way this is a plea to the gaming industry to add support for mouse keyboards for the all consoles and games.
I haven’t read anything on why the game and console manufacturers won’t add support for the mouse and keyboard to gaming consoles but there must be some reasons. I feel that one of the reasons is the fairness. It would not be fair to have someone with a mouse keyboard playing against someone with a controller because it would be a no challenge. I beg to differ since I am pretty good gamer (with a mouse keyboard) but I don’t totally dominate when I play. There are advantages to the controller as well which balances game for all players. Therefore the gaming industry should include support in their games for mouse keyboard. It doesn’t make sense to not have support for mouse keyboard. There are all kinds of games which are coming with their own controllers, rock band, guitar hero, and the biggest catch. Why aren’t 3D shooters coming with their own keyboards and mice for the user who wants to use that instead of the controller?
Please answer that?
I will try to find out and post here what is the official stand of the gaming industry.
